🍒 g/f BAKERY STYLE CHERRY PASTRIES - these fun bakes are made with our CRUFFIN dough featured last week. This time, just rolled out into circles & cut into triangles, then stacked. . Follow the CRUFFIN recipe through step #5, dividing dough into 8 portions. Then do the following: 🍒 roll out into a circle 🍒 cut into eighths & stack 🍒 use a thin skewer to gently press through the stack down the center 🍒 lift that stack up on it’s end & twist 🍒 press your thumb into the center 🍒 place on a parchment lined baking sheet & let them rise for 20 mins 🍒 egg wash, optional (2 egg yolks + 1 tbsp of water whisked) 🍒 fill the center with a tsp of your favorite jam 🍒 sprinkle with sugar, optional 🍒 bake in a preheated 350° oven for 25-30 mins or until golden 🍒 dust with powdered sugar & ENJOY! . 💙⚾️❤️ Air fryer ACCORDION HOT DOGS - Happy Baseball OPENING DAY!! Do we wish we were in Boston at Fenway today...pssst, “that’s a clown question bro!” Fenway Franks would be happening if that were the case, but these will have to suffice for today! . Simple, hearty & oh so yummy. The ratio between sauerkraut, pickle relish & hot dog is a personal choice of course, but the more pucker the better over here! . Check out the few tips below & enjoy all the crispy edges! . Once on the skewer: 🌭 air fry at 400 for 5-8 mins or until edges are to your liking 🌭 remove, when cool enough, hold one end & use tongs to pull off the skewer, layer up the mounds of fermented goodness & ENJOY! . No air fryer, no problem you can cook these in the oven, in a skillet on your stove top. Or maybe you want to roast them outside over a campfire? Go for it, but you’ll want much longer campfire skewers suitable for holding over a campfire. Standard skewers will have your hands far too close to the flame!! . 🤡 Side note, that “clown” quote actually happened, anyone else know who said it a few years ago??
