Festive ROLLED PIZZELLES, so merry & bright! We make these every holiday season & we LOVE THEM!! . Fun to make & always gobbled up! These cuties freeze well, so make a batch or two ahead of them then stash away until you’re ready for them. They’re a yummy addition to any party platter along with a few candy canes & crispy cinnamon buñuelos - party food perfection!! . Made with my PALEO WAFFLE CONE recipe, used a pizzelle press. While they’re still warm, immediately roll them up & let them cool. That’s it, so easy right!? All that’s left is to dip, decorate & enjoy! Add sprinkles, crushed candy canes or even chopped nuts. 😋 . For the chocolate dip: I like to melt 1 cup of dark chocolate chips or white chocolate chips + approximately 1-2 tsp coconut oil over a double broiler - this makes for a softer coating so they’re easier to eat. Pour that into a narrow heat proof jar/cup then you can dip the bottom half so easily! . HOME FRIES - any potato lovers out there...for my version you’ll need: . 🥔 a leftover baked potato 🥔 approx 1-2 tbsp of avocado oil 🥔 a well seasoned, hot cast iron pan 🥔 tasty spice blend & salt! . • cut that potato into 4ths, then slice into wedges & put into a bowl • pour over avocado oil, toss to coat & sprinkle generously with salt • add wedges to the pan, making sure all wedges are laying flat in that pan & don’t touch them until they are golden brown & basically release themselves from the pan. • toss with some tongs & arrange on the unbrowned side & allow to get a golden kiss as well. • while the spuds cook, sprinkle your seasoning blend (approx ½ tsp or so) around the unwashed bowl you tossed the wedges in • add cooked potatoes to the bowl, toss to coat with seasoning, add more salt &/or blend as needed & enjoy! • chopped parsley & ketchup...personal preference! . 🍹 FROSTED CRANBERRIES - as in the FROSTY variety!! So easy to make, freeze & keep on hand this holiday season! Use them to top off sparkling water, mocktails or cocktails! They add a lovely pop of color & a festive look to any cold beverage. . Because in the fast paced holiday season, maybe you didn’t prepare cute frozen ice cubes ahead of time & you still want to be a festive hostess/host in a moment’s notice! These cute lil’ frosted cranberries will save the day! . Check out the “frosty” details below & stay tuned to & follow my Food Social page! Check out the link in bio to follow along there & thank you! . 🍹 rinse about ½ lb of fresh cranberries, allowing as much water to drain off as possible, give that colander/strainer several good shakes. 🍹 add to a shallow dish & sprinkle with about 2 tbsp of organic sugar (or sugar of choice) tossing to coat. 🍹 place cranberries on another parchment lined, freezer safe, shallow pan & sprinkle about another 1-2 tbsp of sugar on top, give the tray a lil’ shake then place in the freezer. 🍹 they freeze quickly & can be used in so many ways...add a little sprig of mint for a pop of color if you’d like, but certainly not required! 🍹 ENJOY!! .
